  • By Kerri Beatty

Submitted by Ali Law Group PC on April 16, 2018

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) recently announced that the electronic employment eligibility verification system (E-Verify) now has a dedicated website. Employers can now access E-Verify anytime, directly from a web browser whereas before information was found throughout the government’s website. Employers will now find information about E-Verify and Form I-9 employment eligibility verification at E-Verify.gov

According to USCIS, the tool will compare data from an employee’s Form I-9 with information from the Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration, and can often confirm employment eligibility instantly or within 24 hours.
